Engine research presented at DOE Advanced Engine Consortium Meeting

On February 11-13, 2014, engine researchers from industry, academia, and national laboratories around the United States gathered to present their latest findings in advanced engine research. UC Berkeley and LBNL research on low temperature combustion (LTC) engines was presented at the meeting by our Ph.D student Ben Wolk. The Berkeley/LBNL presentation provided a high level overview of our engine research program, and recent updates in our experimental and simulation research efforts to understand fundamental phenomena in LTC engines and apply this fundamental understanding towards achieving improved engine performance.
